1.) ABOUT THE ARTIST

I am The Fairy Art Mother, also known as Dee Honeybee. I'm an Artist, a Mother, and also your average person. I'm 27, and I live in the New England region of The United States. 

"What Inspires You?"

I'm mostly influenced by the artists of my favorite animated shows, vintage aesthetics, fashion, nostalgic experiences, and music. Part of my focus is on creating feminine representation for darker skin individuals. Ultimately what motivates me to keep creating is knowing that there are people who will see themselves through my art. 

 

"How did you learn your skills"

I tend to google specific things I want to learn and find tutorials surrounding that. When it comes to anatomy I find that "silhouetting", using references from Pinterest, and starting with basic shapes also works. I also used to find resource guides on Tumblr which helped me improve a ton! Here's a couple links with resources!
